Project Manager - Services Platform Development

About Your Role:

  • The primary mission of this role is cradle to grave ownership of Locomation’s Services platform that enables the clients we serve to realize the full economic value of Locomation’s autonomous vehicle technology.
  • Collection and prioritization of the following to ensure key customer milestones are met effectively and efficiently:
    • Product Requirements
    • Feature Requests
    • Software Products
  • Work closely with the leadership to prepare and maintain comprehensive plans related to Locomation’s automated driving technology Services strategy, product development schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with key customers, engineering and commercialization teams, contractors, and third parties to define, manage and deliver milestones, releases, and daily tasks.
  • Create a detailed project plan that clearly identifies priorities and inter-dependencies among tasks; effectively coordinate resource allocations; and ensure decisions are well understood, documented and executed upon.
  • Proactively manage project scope and change-requests; work with team to rapidly and proactively identify and remove any obstacles/blockers for high momentum development, and ensure on-time, on-budget results.
  • Establish credibility with Transportation Management System providers, build strong working relationships with third-party software developers & teams, and host technical work sessions to advance the project goals
  • Evaluate risks and efficiently communicate status to senior leadership and project stakeholders.

About You:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a project engineer in a logistics product development environment
  • Experience with releasing complex software and/or integrated decision support products to market on a tight timeline
  • Truck transportation IT, Operations, and or workflow automation experience
  • Degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, or equivalent industry experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience with Agile, traditional V&V methods, project management tools such as Atlassian Suite

Nice To Haves:

  • Understanding of the Connected Automated Vehicle (CAV) market space
  • PMP, Product Owner certification
